Our Bhutan Treks

Trekking and Adventure:

Trekking in Bhutan is a unique experiences unlike many of the more crowded treks offered in Asia.The varieties of treks range from a simple three day trek from the district of Thimphu to Paro (vice and versa).

To the 25days the legendary snowman trek that takes veterian trekkers through some of the most exquisite sports in the country.The snow man trek is also levelled the world toughest trek as it goes over 12 mountain passes,all of them over 4500m above sea level.Allmost all the treksls offer a combination of natural discovery and inside into the countries delicate and unique daily life.Many of the trails take walkers past remote and ancient monastries,through deep forest,and close to villages.The trail pass grassland and pastures for livestock,and meadows of wild flowers,butterflies,and grazing animals.Trekkers often get to spot blue sheep,takins and varities of wild animals and birdlife including the wild pheasants.

Bhutans treks are also famouse for the majestic views of the Himalayan peaks that provide a sense of awe andwonder and a point of contemplationfor trekkers along the way.

In Bhutan,all trekking supplies camping equipments,kitchen implements,food are carried by packed animals.Porters are rather unusual in Bhutan with loads usually carted by horses or,in higher regions,Yaks.For walkers the most appropriate trekking times are mid march to mid may and mid september to the begining of the november.There are however also trekking routes that are better suited to summer or winter.
